DIY Menthol Shower Steamers with Recipe
In this tutorial I will teach you how I make Menthol Shower Steamers. Menthol gives a fresh, cool and tingling sensation and is an extremely effective way to treat the symptoms of a cold or flu. A must have around our house. I plan on giving these as gifts to friends and family this year.

Shower Steamers, AKA Shower Fizzies, Shower Melts, and Shower Bombs, are similar to Bath Bombs but instead of using them in the tub, Steamers are used in the shower. Instructions for use – To activate essential oils in Shower Steamer, simply place on the shower floor where water can easily get to it. Enjoy!

The Recipe I used in this DIY Shower Steamer Tutorial
8 oz citric acid 16 oz baking soda 2 oz white kaolin clay .50 oz FO (I love an essential oil/ fragrance oil blend my favorites linked below!) 1 oz 91% rubbing alcohol 0.25 oz Polysorbate 80 1/2 – 1 tsp mica (optional) 1.2 oz. Menthol Crystals This recipe gives me approximately 16 Shower Steamers that weigh approximately 1.2 ounces each. See video for instructions.
